Photoshop. Adding Oomph to a Photo.

Use the skills we have practised so far to transform this drab photo into something more appealing.

Use the Pen tool to trace the bottle.

Copy it.

Open a new document. 20cm h x 15cm w

300dpi

Paste the bottle

Resize it. Control T. Hit enter.

Adjust Brightness +25, Contrast +60

Use Blur tool to smudge any areas where the pixels are too grainy.

Make the black type on the bottle BLACK. Use the Pen too trace its outline and fill with black.

Add a New Layer. Fill with black (Edit > Fill). Make it the background

Use Burn Tool to darken the edges of the bottle. (Gives depth).

Add and Outer Glow to the bottle (FX at bottom of Layer Palette)

Add a gradient to your background layer. Orange to Red. This will add some warmth and vibrance to the picture.
