Photoshop. Intensify Colour.

A tip for intensifying the colour in a image you feel may be lacking in that area.

Open your image in PS.

Right click on the Layer in Layers Palette.

Select Duplicate Layer

Set the Blending Mode of the new layer to Soft Light.

Then adjust the Opacity to suit.

  1. Hi Michael,
There was a tutorial in which we manipulated the brightness and contrast of an image of a cat. We turned the image to pure black and white, found the white most point and then found the darkest most point. Is there a tutorial on that somewhere?

    Thanks, Jason Plevras - YCC
