Indesign's default setting for justified type can be altered to create a more visually pleasing result.
We will create a new Paragraph Style which alters the space between the letters in any line of type as well as the space between the words.
Click Window > Styles > Paragraph Style
1 Click Indents and Spacing.
2 Choose left Justify
3 Click Justification
4 Change the settings to the following.
word 75 100 125
letter -5 0 5
glyph 98 100 102
Don't for get to name your new Paragraph Style
You can now click OK
The new style will appear in the Paragraph Styles panel
